Museum of Illusions - Editor's visit

Illusions are a huge part of magic, movies, amusement parks, and every aspect when it comes to the imagination. Whether you were mesmerized by films like 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' or just want to find that perfect unique selfie to post on Instagram, Museums of Illusions gives you plenty of those opportunities to explore. 

Situated in the heart of downtown across from Macy's and down the street from Block 37 and Primark, it's a perfect way to start or end your downtown visit. Museum of Illusions features 80 visual and educational exhibits that are immersive, optical and educational. 

Upon entering, there are a few classic illusions on the wall to get your brain thinking. Then it's on to the fun selfies, from the headless platter to a room full of mirrors to and a moving tunnel that'll make you feel like you're spinning from side to side. (not for the faint of heart) 

Starting next week, get ready to start celebrating Halloween! Decorations and twists on their experiences that include a spooky twist begin on September 23rd and will be up through the Halloween season. Expect to spend at least an hour taking in all the installations.
