1. The Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival
This is the 31st year of the North Michigan Ave. parade that kicks the shopping season with a big splash of holiday magic. This year is for the 80's babies with performances from Debbie Gibson, The Pointer Sisters, C+C Music Factory and The Spinners.
Festivities begin at 11am with family activities and photo ops, with the parade kicking off at 5:30pm.

2. Christkindlmarket
Celebrate Christkindlmarket at three locations this year. We have the original location at Daley Plaza, an expanded Gallagher Way with activites and ice skating inside Wrigley Field (tickets need to be purchased to enter ball park) and a new location at RiverEdge Park in Aurora. We've got a new collector mugs, glogg and all the traditional treats and souvenirs you’ve come to enjoy at Christkindlmarket.

Looking to get into the holiday spirit without the crowds, then you gotta check out the terrace globes at Hotel Zachary. Each Globe can accomodate 2-8 people with rooftop view of the Winterland experience at Gallagher Way and Wrigley Field. Guests that book a reservation for a globe are invited to order from the hotel's dinner menu crafted by the Mordecai team. Seasonal beverages, like mulled house wine are also available.
