Chicago hosts one of the biggest St. Patrick's Day celebrations on the planet!
While the official holiday takes place on March 17, many of the popular events take place on Saturday, March 15 downtown and around the city.
The 70th annual dyeing of the river green starts at 10am along the city's riverwalk. Upper Wacker is the best spots on the street to see the iconic Chicago event, all businesses and access to the riverwalk will be closed during that time.
