The chronological start of The Star Wars Saga returns to AMC theaters in time for the film's 25th anniversary. We get to see the first journey of Anakin Skywalker and where the series will eventually take us. The film stars Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman & Samuel L. Jackson. If you are hoping to celebrate all things Star Wars, there's a 13 hour marathon taking place showing all 9 films also at AMC Theaters.

Whirlyball hosts a Star Wars-themed tournament called Revenge of the 5th!
Celebrate Star Wars all weekend with Whirlyball's first ever
Revenge of the 5th celebration. The ultimate galaxy-themed Whirlyball showdown will include both an exclusive tournament, a welcome pizza dinner, and
a costume contest of galactic prizes. The event is free, but are asked to
register via eventbrite, because there is a capacity limit. Prizes will include giftcards and free games for best team/player and best costumes.

Since 2020, this venue has brought drive-in theaters back to Chicago. They are celebrating May the 4th, with a film that many believe to be the best Star Wars film The Empire Strikes Back. All spaces have excellent views of the screen, and are available in four sections. Each section's space is determined by first come, first serve. Plus you can order and food brought right out to your car. Their restaurant features tacos, wings. burgers, pizza, movie-theater popcorn, drinks, and even $1 menu items. Outside food or beverage is not allowed.
The movie starts at 8:30pm.
